We purchased our current home in Poway in 2022 and were thrilled when we found it because it had great bones. The previous owners had completed a recent roof replacement, replaced all windows and doors, and kept up with consistent maintenance of the property. To modernize the home, we replaced all flooring and tile, removed soffits over the old kitchen cabinetry and installed new kitchen cabinets, enlarged the kitchen island, installed new countertops, replaced the bathroom vanities, smoothed the walls to get rid of the skip trowel texture, painted the entire interior including ceilings, replaced all lighting, wallpapered two rooms and added new furniture and accessories to make each room feel like us.
